You know the old adage about taking time to smell the roses? Well, my twist on that is to tell you to take the time to enjoy the ability to chew your food. Not as poetic as the whole rose thing I admit, but still worth doing! On January 10th my jaw locked at a 15 which is about one finger wide. I am pleased to report that after two and a half months of intensive therapy, I can now open my jaw to a 53 which my TMJ Specialist tells me is normal and means the ball has finally slipped back into the socket! I've always wanted to be normal and this might be as close as I get...
Hi everyone! As "Greetings from (insert location here)" is the way that most of my conversations start these days, it seemed only appropriate to name my blog Somewhere Out There.

Somewhere Out There - the new meaning
This post is for my sister-in-law Laura who was the only person to notice that I hadn't posted anything yet! I originally named this blog "Somewhere Out There" as that was the theme of my life as I traveled for work. Well, as most of you know, I was laid off a couple of weeks ago. So now "Somewhere Out There" is the new theme to my job search! Keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck :).
