Crunch

Don't you hate it when you are backing up and suddenly you hear the unmistakable sound of metal crunching metal? I was leaving the hair salon on Saturday, backing out my parking space, looked over the old shoulder, saw no one there, when suddenly "CRUNCH". My eyes flew to the rear view mirror to see the stunned driver of a red Prius, cell phone at her ear, eyes opened wide, starring at me. The damages to my vehicle are relatively minor since we were only going about a mile an hour. My bumper cover is askew and will need to be fixed and then there are some scratches and gouges in the paint. The Prius has damage on the rear door, the quarter panel, and the wheel. Blah! Not my favorite way to spend time on a Saturday afternoon. Well, at least this time I won't feel obligated to go to a particular repair shop because they are a client. Anyone know a good auto body repair shop in the Bountiful or Ogden areas?

What I did at work today...

Doing my best to hone my more marketable skills, today at work I sorted through clothes, stood in our parking lot and identified when sprinklers turned on and off, ate pizza for lunch (kind of regretting that last slice now), moved my office as mine is being turned into a wedding studio, and got caught up on the life and times of my coworkers. Ah what a day :).

Moving to Rhode Island?

I spent yesterday on the phone in 7 interviews with a company in Rhode Island. The interviews went well and so far I am excited about the job and the company. It looks like I will be flying back east the week of August 4th to do the next round of interviews. So, does anyone know anything about life in Rhode Island? The job is about 11 miles north of Providence so I will likely be looking there to live if I am offered the job.
