We headed over to Pearl Harbor to pay our respects and honor the memory of those that were there that day - both those that gave their lives and those that survived. It was a fascinating glimpse into a moment in history that redefined it. We toured the Bowfin, visited the memorials, and watched the film about December 7, 1941.
Next up was a visit to the USS Arizona. Unfortunately, as we headed to our scheduled time to visit the USS Arizona, it was closed do to high winds. We made it a point to come back early a few days later to complete out tour. Instead we headed to the USS Missouri - you can read all about that in the next post.
