Waikiki

Don't you love it when a friend calls and says "hey I'm headed to Hawaii next week - wanna come?"!  Ummm, let me think about that..."yeah I do!"  We ended up staying at the Waikiki Marriott with a great view of the beach (conveniently located across the street):

We had a great stress free time lounging at the beach (me in the sun, her under an umbrella), exploring the area, enjoying the food (I highly recommend Cheeseburger in Paradise - it might just be the best burger I have ever had).

I really enjoyed Waikiki and am glad we are planning to make this girls weekend in Hawaii a new tradition!  For those of you Hawaii savvy people out there, let me know where we should go (and feel free to come along next time).
